The installers on this page can also be used to upgrade existing installations to the latest version. Minor version upgrades are included with your license. There is no automatic update, but products may detect available upgrades. In particular, AVS client will display this information, when internet access is available. See the Knowledge Base for more information.
AVS - Server core, with bundled JNLP client
Licences can be sent for free for educational purposes and open source projects.
AVS licence determines how many concurrent users can connect AVS server at a time. Free version (without licence) can run up to 3 concurrent users.
You can request a 30 days evaluation licence for free, or purchase a commercial licence. In both cases, AVS support team will contact you by email within 24 hours to send you back the requested licence.

AVS - SVN importer
SVN importer is free. It will let you import your project's trunk into AVS, keeping the whole history. Svn4AVS relies on javahl, from the subcliplse project. This library is native x86, and the setup does not embed a JVM: you will need to have a 1.6 JVM already installed.

AVS - Shell extension for x86
AVS shell extension for windows is free. Moreover, notice that you can run both AVS' JNLP client and the shell extension without consuming as many seats: only one seat is consumed per unique login used, no matter how many sessions are actually used.
